Since July 2024, Žygimantas Solovjovas has been serving as the Head of the Civil Protection Unit at the Vilnius City Administration. From 2020 to 2024, he worked as a Methodologist at the Lithuanian Military Academy, specializing in methodology, leadership, and military training planning. Since 2009, he has held the position of Deputy Commander of the 803rd Infantry Company, part of the 8th Company of the 8th Brigade within the Great Combat District of the National Defence Volunteer Forces. Additionally, in 2012–2013, he participated in a peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, stationed in the Ghor province.
